I've got a Plasma Cutter
that is not listed on your site and I beleive may be obsolete, can I still get parts ?
We profile the most popular end-user units. Our inventory
covers a broad range of Hypertherm products. If you find that your Plasma Cutter
is not profiled, call our office and ask for Hypermax Customer Service. They
will provide you with fast reliable service.
I want to order but want
it shipped to an alternate address. Will Hypermax ship to where I designate?
Yes.
When ordering there are 2 areas of information that call for shipping and
billing data. You can opt to ship to an alternate address other than billing,
simply by filling in the shipping section of your order form, there, you can
indicate where the shipment should be sent. Should you find that you need more
space for special instructions, you can always send us an email or contact via
phone or use the comments section. When "Ship To" information is different from
"Bill To", you will be asked to validate your Security code (3 digit number
found on the back of your card) American Express has a 4 digit code.
I've typed in what I
know to be a correct part number in the search box for a consumable that you've
listed but get no results or I get several items under the same number.
If
there are no results for a machine that is listed, call our office. We will
assist you. Several part numbers are interchangeable on different torches. You
may get a search result for 3 or more machines. This is normal.
Who is Hypermax?
Hypermax is a sub-division of Earlbeck Gases & Technologies.
It was created to exclusively accommodate Hypertherm users. We have been an
established authorized dealer since 2000
I've noticed that you
provide a Flat Rate Fee for UPS
Ground. Do you discount other levels of UPS Shipping?
Can I use my own account with another
carrier instead ?
We've
discounted UPS Ground at a $10.00
flat rate. Due to rising fuel costs, we can not
discount Premium UPS Levels such as NDA or 2nd Day. Should you
have a preference such as a different UPS level, USPS or another carrier, please indicate your
preferences in the "comments" section when placing your order and you will be charged
accordingly. If you live within the State of Maryland, shipping & handling charges
in addition to 5% Tax for
your shipment will be billed directly to your credit card. We do not accept C.O.D. orders. Hypermax can not accept
"Out of State" purchase orders. Method of payment can be Cashiers or
Certified check, money
order, Bank Transfer or Major credit cards. Personal checks must clear bank
processing before order can be shipped. Our standard plan is very
economical in that we will ship up to 25 lbs for just 10.00. Orders received by
12:00 P.M. EST., are usually processed and shipped the same day provided that
all parts ordered are in stock. Orders that have
been placed on a Friday after 2:00 P.M. will be shipped first thing the
following Monday. Next Day Air service is available on orders placed Monday thru
Thursday. It is not advisable to place an Next Day order on Friday as it will
not be delivered until the following Monday. Unless
specifically notified otherwise, In certain
cases, Hypermax reserves the right to ship via alternate means such as the Postal Service
(USPS) when Flat Rate
shipping methods are selected.
I
want to order large quantities of parts. Can I get a discount?
We give major discounts to customers who order large amounts
in excess of 300 pieces or agree to order on a monthly basis. Discounts are
calculated on quantities. In order to qualify for continuing discounts, a
pre-determined quantity must be ordered
Why
am I required to
purchase a package of 5 when I only need 2?
Some items are factory packaged in multiples and are priced
individually. We have no control over how the manufacturer decides to distribute
and sell their product.
Why is it recommended that I use Genuine Hypertherm parts
for my unit?
A close reproduction just doesn't hold up. Using "knock offs" may be
cost efficient to a degree, but in the long haul, using anything other than
Genuine Hypertherm consumables, could end up costing you hundreds of dollars in time and repairs. Any damage caused by the use of non-genuine parts may
not, however, be
covered by warranty. Keep in mind that you get what you pay
for.
Do you have a minimum order requirement?
No order is too small. However, we have imposed a small
surcharge for orders less than 35.00. When you reach our check out page you'll see
the surcharge applied automatically.
We caution again that some items are sold as
multiples. e.g. If you need (1) O-Ring, Hypertherm distributes these parts as
(5) to a package. This information will be provided to you at the time of your
order. You can also find related packaging information in our part tables.
Who can I contact if I have a problem with either an order or have a question.
What are your hours of operation?
Our internet service director, monitors incoming mail addressed through our
Customer Service mail box Depending on your situation, we can usually respond within
a business day after receipt orf your mail. This address can be used for typical support inquiries, such
as shipment verification, amendments to your order etc. You can also log
on to our store using your unique username/password to check the status of your
order. For telephone support, our business hours
are 7:30 a.m. thru 5:00 p.m. E.S.T.
I would rather order using
the telephone, do I still get the same shipping rates?
Yes. For
security reasons, some of our customers are reluctant to use a "Secure Server"
to transmit credit information. You are entitled to the same rates.

What is the length of warranty on a Powermax
machine?
Hypertherm offers a 3 year warranty on all Powermax
Machines and 1 year coverage on torches.
I have received my
order but need to return a damaged item, or I have a shortage, what can I do?
We will gladly accept the return of
products that are defective due to problems in
manufacturing and/or workmanship for 15 days from the date of
purchase. Fulfilment mistakes & damages must be reported within 7 days
of receipt of order. You must contact our office to get a
Return Goods Authorization. With exception to noted problems herein, all sales
are final.
